The city of Weston is a planned community, very close to Miami, designed by Arvida/JMB Realty, the same developer that planned Walt Disney World. Weston belongs to Broward-County. As the name suggests, Weston is in the westernmost part of Broward County, bordering the Everglades and all the nature and tropicalism that the region provides. With a population of 70,000, the community was originally designed to be a golf complex.
