Florida is already in Phase 2 of reopening the economy, as determined by Governor Ron DeSantis, on this last day 5. In the midst of this resumption environment, Miami-Dade County gyms and gyms have received great news: reopen its doors after more than two months closed. However, the decision comes with several protection measures and restrictions.
Miami-Dade follows the same schedule as Broward County, where gyms reopened last month.
Academies must follow CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) rules and guidelines. The use of masks is mandatory and some are adopting temperature control of regulars at the entrance. Some will not open now and will wait for a more convenient time.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), Miami beaches may also reopen in the county, as determined by Mayor Carlos Gimenez. The original reopening date was June 1, but was postponed due to protests on May 30, related to the assassination of George Floyd.
