O’Brien Road Investors LLC submitted plans for Phillips Landing, a 153-home subdivision in Groveland. If approved, the community would bring more homes to Central Florida at a time when homebuyer demand is high and inventory hasn’t kept up. Reported Orlando Business Journal.

The community would feature detached single-family homes between two major roadways: Florida’s Turnpike and U.S. Route 27.

The potential price range of the homes is unknown, but Lake County features a lower median home price than fellow Central Florida counties Orange, Osceola and Seminole. In September, Lake County homes sold for a median price of $248,250, according to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association. That’s cheaper than the region’s median sales price for homes in Orlando, of $270,000.
