Dozens of new townhomes are planned to rise in Orlando less than two miles from the gates of SeaWorld Orlando. Reported Orlando Business Journal.

Orlando-based law firm Lowndes filed an application, on behalf of the developer, for 43 townhomes at 11314 Westwood Blvd. in Orlando on Sept. 8, according to Orange County documents. The law firm is representing the owner of the site, which is an entity related to Orlando-based custom homebuilder Davila Homes.

Plans were originally submitted in August 2019, but were recently resubmitted after a redesign. The 8.88-acre site was bought by Davila Homes for $1.145 million in 2016, according to the Orange County Property Appraiser website.
