Right now, millennial homebuyers are braving the real estate market. Because this generation has reached a point of financial maturity, they have truly begun to chase the American dream. In fact, many have been in the market experiencing bidding wars and all the roadblocks that come with homeownership.
According to a survey by Realtor.com, one third of first-time millennial homebuyers have not been able to find a home within their budget. In fact, the latest Weekly Housing Trends Report showed an increase on median listing prices.
Right now millennials place a lot of importance in owning a home and wanting to build equity. In fact, millennials have shown strong affinity for housing and are determined to become home owners. Right now, millennials not only want to purchase home, but they can. Some buyers were renters before the pandemic, and saw the benefits that come with owning a home.
