The city of Boca Raton started to appear in the ranking of the most bike-friendly destinations in the US, a characteristic that makes the city even more desired to live or maintain a second home in Florida. The city ranked 55th for the entire country and 27th for the state of Florida. The ranking was developed by the League of American Bicyclists.
There are more than 130 miles of bike paths, paved shoulders and trails. Over the years, the bicycle network in the city has undergone improvements and improvements, several investments that continue to be made.
